Knitech Electronics is an industrial service company specializing in
electronic control repair and automation engineering. Our repair and
rebuild programs include inverters (VFDs), servo controllers, chopper
drives, stepper controllers, microprocessor based
boards, programmable logic controllers, and industrial
computer systems.
Knitech Electronics - founded by David and
Joli Palmer, started servicing the hosiery industry in the southeastern
U.S. in 1992. We have grown with the industry and have gained the
knowledge and the expertise as the technology advanced. Located
in Fort Payne, Alabama, the "Hosiery Capitol of the World",
it was quite natural that we would see the evolution of the hosiery
industry. We have seen machines go from mechanical drums to
sophisticated embedded microcontroller systems. To add to our
business, we have within the past 5 years added commercial laundry to
our resume. We now have over 200 customers worldwide with
customers in Japan, Europe, and Central America.
Our electronic shop is well equipped to handle any
board repair. In the hosiery and laundry division we have actual
machines and or simulators to insure the test are as accurate and
reliable as possible. We pride ourselves on quick-turnarounds to
insure that our customers downtime is minimal.
